About the role

Source Supply are currently recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Sheffield based School that caters for Children aged 4 to 11 with Autism Spectrum Conditions.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be working with Children with Special Educational Needs such as Autistic Spectrum conditions and Speech and Language difficulties. This role requires an engaging, proactive, adaptable, resilient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with great communication skills & a want to make a difference in young people’s lives.

You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in all they do. The school work tirelessly to make sure each of their pupils achieve their potential.

If you have experienced in care, respite, residential, special needs in Adults or any other relevant experience you can transition into a SEND school then we want to hear from you!

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

  • Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
  • A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
  • Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
  • Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
  • Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
