About the role

Source Supply are working with a friendly primary school in Middlesbrough to recruit a proactive and experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis across upper Key Stage 1 and lower Key Stage 2.

Splitting their time across several classrooms to meet the needs of the school, the ideal candidate will be a confident classroom assistant with excellent communication skills and comfortable working independently with a wide range of children.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or be able to evidence they are working towards this).
• Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
• Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
• Be comfortable supporting the class teacher to deliver a range of lessons.
• Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
